During the recent UK fuel issues, it just so happened one of our team were on holiday for the week about 250miles drive away.
They normally drive a diesel car, which would have been a massive problem with every fuel station being sold out, or when they did manage to find a place with some fuel, it has insane queues, limits on amount you could fill up, or even hiked up prices.
However, rather fortuitously they had borrowed the fully EV i-Pace for the week, meaning there were no issues at all!
Charging up on the way back included a quick stop with this rapid charger at a huge petrol station, shown in the picture. Just had to drive around the cones and “sorry no fuel” signs to get to it.
