A big well done to the Whalley Range Rams on getting their first win of the season!
They beat Thornleigh, a north Manchester team who have been in the MABL League for many years.
That first win took longer than what they would have liked, but as a new team we all knew it would be tough to get wins in the first half of the season.
The win didn't disappoint, having come so very close in a few games already, this time they made sure there would be no doubt in the end, with the final result being a massive 71 - 29.

The first half of the season was filled with lots of lessons of how to play together as a team, as well as unfortunately a lot of injuries. But with this win, things seem to be on the upswing for the team.
First Year Coach, player and overall team leader, James Keating has been fantastic in designing systems and plays to help maximise the strengths of all the players on the team.
There is a strong friendly team ball atmosphere with the Rams, a culture which is a great foundation to build off for future seasons.

Now with just over half the season gone, everyone here at iPower hope they can get a few more wins to add to that total.
Good luck for the rest of the season Rams!
